Huis Harpuis’ accommodation consists of:

• Open plan Sitting- and Dining room with a fire place and a 10 seater dining table.
• Fully equipped Kitchen with a separate Scullery. There is a large gas stove with electric oven, microwave and a large fridge with a freezer. All our houses have coffee making facilities.
• Bedrooms: there are 4 bedrooms, 2 x bedrooms with double beds and 2 x bedrooms with single beds. We provide bedding and towels and all our beds have electric blankets and a wall mounted heater in each bedroom.
• Note: Please bring your own candles, torches and warm water bottles for when it is load shedding!
• Ablutions: 1 x family Bathroom with bath/shower combo, 1 x separate WC and 1 x separate shower.
• Garage/Games Room: 1 x large double garage with a Table tennis table, Dart board, Fooze Ball table and a Pool table.
• Braai Facility: mobile braai facility is available at the outdoor patio with a large lawn. The patio links Huis Harpuis with Spekbossie Annex.

Spekbossie Annex’ accommodation consists of:

• Open plan cottage with a double bed, a Dover coal stove
• Kitchenette with a dining/study area. There is a bar fridge with freezer compartment and a microwave. All our houses have coffee making facilities.
• Ensuite Shower with basin and WC.
• Note: unfortunately we don’t rent Spekbossie Annex out on its own.

Essentials to bring:

• Own candles for loadshedding, we supply 1 x pack Light House Candles.
• Own plunger coffee, we supply Jacobs Kronung coffee, We supply the coffee plungers.
• Own special teas – we supply Ceylon tea and Rooibos tea.
• Own torch
• Own hot water bottle for loadshedding for when our electric blankets and heaters don’t work.
• Own fire lighters – we supply 1 x small pack with matches.
• Own bath soap and shampoo.
• Warm clothes!
• No need to bring your own fire wood as we sell local fire wood at the farm.
